This option is perfect for anyone wanting to plan a unique Party, School field trip, Team building event, or even just a family fun staycation! It includes around 25 minutes of thrilling roundtrip jet boating from Touvelle State Park to our 53- acre Discovery Park and time enjoying all the park has to offer. This experience gives you at least 2 hours’ time at the Discovery Park, and your time can be extended in increments of 2.5 hours each, at no additional cost– with prior arrangements. Return times to Touvelle are typically scheduled at 1:30 or 4:15.
Once you arrive to the Discovery Park, the fun or relaxation is up to you! You will have full access to our private 40-acre “Lake Rogue Jetter” for swimming and optional rental activities that can include: paddle boats, stand up boards, inflatable boats, inner tubes, and fishing poles for fishing bass off the docks. The Discovery Park has games of all sorts throughout the park for those that want to stay active, and shaded tables and hammocks for those looking to relax. If you enjoy history, check out our interpretive boards that highlight our rivers history and are learning stations for school field trips. Don’t forget to take part in our famous souvenir arrowhead hunt and check out the souvenirs and apparel!
All activities start and end at Touvelle State Park: 8601 Table Rock Rd. Central Point, Oregon 97502. Any auto entering the State Park is required to get a $5 self-pay parking pass by cash or check. This is paid to the State Park at the self -pay ticket booth at the entrance to Touvelle, and not Rogue Jet Boat Adventures.
Arrive 20 minutes early for check in. If you arrive late, you forfeit your ticket. Reserving the front row is not available but we do take special requests at check in. The captain has the final say of where your group sits for even weight distribution and keeping all safe. The back rows are reserved for families with kids, the elderly, or those that are pregnant. Loading the boat requires either making wide steps over the rows of seats or sitting down on a row and swinging legs over rows. The park has plenty of easy motorhome and RV parking next to the boat loading area. As with any public place please secure valuables. There are convenient clean restrooms available at check in and of course at the Discovery Park.
Infants are not recommended because light to heavy water is to be expected on your boat at any time and this activity includes spins. If you decide to bring your infant, please wear them in a baby carrier. All ages require a ticket please. Ages 12 years and younger are required to wear a lifejacket by law, and by law we must supply a certain kind. Please do not bring your own. Thanks!
Pets are NOT allowed on the boat. We work with the amazing Krazy Kritters Pet Sitting company just a few minutes down the road. You can either arrange to drop your pet off for doggy day care or have them come play with your dog at the State Park while you are on your adventure. https://www.krazykritterdogwalking.com/ 541-678-0570. Prices are between $25 and $50 depending on service, for two dogs. You are welcome to bring your own picnic items on the boat in a small cooler (20 qt or less) or keep it simple and purchase from us. Please do not bring your own alcohol. Hot & cold food items are available as an add on when booking your ticket or ordered on the fly once arriving at the Discovery Park. Snack foods including chips, local jerky, candy, and ice creams are also available for purchase. Don’t worry, we also have you covered with soda, juice, coffee, wine, beer, seltzers & ciders. Bring I.D for alcohol purchases please.
Lake activity rentals are not included with ticket purchase and can be reserved as an add on during ticket purchase or once you arrive at the Discovery Park. Swimming is popular and done at your own risk with no lifeguard on duty. Lake water is around 70-80 degrees while river swimming is a refreshing 62! Of course, life jackets are available for all water activities.
Beginner fishing pole rentals with jigs or bait are also available as an add on during booking or once arriving at layover. You are welcome to bring your own gear as well. Gear MUST be folded down and not rigged (preferably in a case) to load a jet boat for the tour. Fishing is catch and release on our private lake and a fishing license is not required.
Ticket purchase requires a nonrefundable 50% deposit, at the time of booking, with the remaining balance paid at check-in. Multiple card payments can be used for a booking by selecting the “Split Pay” option at check out. After you complete the booking, you will be able to forward the reservation email to others in your group so they can pay online themselves. Cancellations are accepted up until 24 hours before the trip with deposit carried forward to a future booking. No-shows and day of cancellations are charged in full.
This is by far the BEST jet boat experience that we’ve ever been on. For years we went on jet boats from a Grants Pass business, not knowing about Rogue Jet Boat Adventures in Central Point. We’ll never go anywhere else! The trips are beautiful, fun, exciting, informative and YES! You get wet!! Really well run, organized local family business that has awesome staff. Special shout out to Nick, our most recent captain. Can’t wait for our next adventure, the Concert at the Rocks. Not only do they have the most awesome jet boat rides, there is a private island ( really chill) and live music concerts. It doesn’t get any better than this. so much fun!
