Events and Outing Description

Events held at our Discovery Park venue are incredibly unique and memorable experiences. This can include private fundraising concerts, office team building outings, large corporate picnics, school field days, and reunions. Between the stunning natural scenery, the thrilling jet boating, and all the fun the Discovery Park has to offer, your event is sure to be talked about for years to come! Options for holding an event with us include arriving to the Discovery Park by jet boat or raft. Arriving by autos is not available.

Once at the Discovery Park, the options for fun and relaxation are endless! You will have full access to our private 40-acre “Lake Rogue Jetter” for swimming and optional lake rental activities that can include: paddle boats, stand up boards, canoes, kayaks, inner tubes, and fishing poles for fishing bass off the docks. Swimming is allowed in both Lake Rogue Jetter and the river, at your own risk. No lifeguard is on duty. Lifejackets are available for all ages for water activities.

Game stations ready to go for your event include volleyball, tetherball, ladder ball, corn hole, disk golf, hula hoops, an adult teeter totter, and a playground! Are we missing anything?

For those that want to chill and watch others wear themselves out, we have shaded tables and hammocks along both the river and lake; beautiful scenery included! If you enjoy history, check out our interpretive boards that highlight our rivers’ history and our learning stations for school field trips. Last, but not least, don’t forget to take part in our famous souvenir arrowhead hunt or purchase apparel and souvenirs from the gift shop to remember your trip!

Food options for your event can include our Ole’ Chinook Bar & Grill. Snack foods available including chips, candy, and ice creams. A large assortment of non-alcoholic options are available as well as draft/bottled beer, hard cider, seltzers and wine. Please do not bring your own alcohol.

If your group is entertaining the idea of planned activities at Touvelle State Park facilities in conjunction with an experience with us; and have 50 people or more, you may be required to obtain a special use permit from Oregon State Parks. You may find the following information helpful in your planning.

This was a fantastic adventure, filled with thrills as the very skilled pilot wove his way over the rapids, through very narrow channels, and super fun spins. If you sit in the front you may even get a few extra splashes to cool you off!
