Our newest offering at a special price! Families welcome! Happier Hour features a local musician or two to set your mood while adventuring (or relaxing) at the Discovery Park and gives you a taste of our ‘Concert at the Rocks’. The evening starts by parking at Touvelle State Park and hopping on your scheduled boat shuttle headed downstream for the Discovery Park. Total Jet Boat time is around 20 mins total- roundtrip.
A $5 parking pass (exact cash needed) from the Touvelle State Park self-pay kiosk is required for parking. Don’t forget to leave receipt in dash window!
Once at the park the options for fun and relaxation are endless! You will have full access to our private 40-acre “Lake Rogue Jetter” for swimming and optional lake rental activities that can include: paddle boats, stand up boards, inflatable boats, inner tubes, and fishing poles for fishing bass off the docks. Bringing your own fishing gear is welcomed and you do not need a fishing license for our private lake.
NEW THIS YEAR to the lake are floating AquaGlide/AquaPark climbing and jumping structures that includes a large slide into the water! Adult supervision is required for all children under 18 playing on the AquaPark structures. We have floating docks and lounges on the lake where supervision can take place if you don’t want to join your kids in the fun!. All activities including swimming and lake activities are done at your own risk. No lifeguard is on duty. Lifejackets are available for all water activities and are required to be worn for ages 12 and under.
Game stations throughout the park include volleyball, tetherball, ladder ball, corn hole, limbo, disk golf, hula hoops, an adult teeter totter and a playground! Are we missing anything? For those that want to chill and watch others wear themselves out, we have shaded tables and hammocks along both the river and lake; beautiful scenery included! If you enjoy history, check out our interpretive boards that highlight our rivers’ history and our learning stations for school field trips. Last, but not least, don’t forget to take part in our famous souvenir arrowhead hunt or purchase apparel and souvenirs from the gift shop to remember your trip!
Food options ranging from Vegan & GF, to Chicken & Beef will be available from our in-house food truck. Snack foods are available as well as candy and ice creams for the sweet tooth. A large assortment of non-alcoholic options are available as well as draft/bottled beer, hard cider, seltzers, and wine. Bringing your own alcohol is NOT OK.
Tip: If interested in floating into the Discovery Park for Happier Hour, you will find some helpful info on doing so, by visiting our Concert at the Rocks -Other Helpful Info section for directions. Camping is also available for $20 a person and can be added during ticket purchase. All camping items are brought in by boat so packing light is a necessity.
Please purchase a ticket either way so we know to expect you!
This was a fantastic adventure, filled with thrills as the very skilled pilot wove his way over the rapids, through very narrow channels, and super fun spins. If you sit in the front you may even get a few extra splashes to cool you off!
