Our newest offering at a very affordable Happier Hour price! Kids welcome. Grab your adventure buddies and come celebrate the “Golden Hours” of the week at the Discovery Park! Happier Hour is the mini version of our “Concert at the Rocks”. The evening starts by parking at Touvelle State Park and hopping on your scheduled boat departure headed for the Discovery Park.
A $5 parking pass from a Touvelle State Park self-pay kiosk is required for parking. Don’t forget to leave in dash window!
Happier Hour features a local musician or two to set your Golden Hours’ mood.
Food options ranging from Vegan, GF, to Beef will be available from our new in-house food truck. Snack foods available include chips, local jerky, candy and ice creams. A large assortment of non-alcoholic options is available as well as draft/bottled beer, hard cider, seltzers, and wine. Bringing your own alcohol is NOT OK.
Once at the park the options for fun and relaxation are endless! You will have full access to our private 40-acre “Lake Rogue Jetter” for swimming and optional lake rental activities that can include: paddle boats, stand up boards, inflatable boats, inner tubes, and fishing poles for fishing bass off the docks. Bringing your own fishing gear is welcomed and you do not need a fishing license for our private lake.
Swimming is allowed in both Lake Rogue Jetter and the river, at your own risk. No lifeguard is on duty. Lifejackets are available for all water activities. Game stations throughout the park include volleyball, tetherball, ladder ball, corn hole, limbo, disk golf, hula hoops, an adult teeter totter and a playground! Are we missing anything? For those that want to chill and watch others wear themselves out, we have shaded tables and hammocks along both the river and lake; beautiful scenery included! If you enjoy history, check out our interpretive boards that highlight our rivers’ history and our learning stations for school field trips. Last, but not least, don’t forget to take part in our famous souvenir arrowhead hunt or purchase apparel and souvenirs from the gift shop to remember your trip!

This was a fantastic adventure, filled with thrills as the very skilled pilot wove his way over the rapids, through very narrow channels, and super fun spins. If you sit in the front you may even get a few extra splashes to cool you off!
