The Epic 2-Day Rafting Adventure of the Upper Rogue

Packed with historical, cultural, and ecological landmarks, Class IV rapids, and
an unforgettable overnight stay beneath Lower Table Rock at Discovery Park.

Overview

The Upper Rogue’s premier 2-day rafting adventure begins at Dodge Bridge, where you’ll launch into a scenic float through a stretch of river rich in history, culture, and natural beauty—creating a true sense of connection to Southern Oregon.

Along the way, you’ll pass notable locations such as Rattlesnake Rapids, the Clark Gable & Ginger Rogers retreat, the Medford Elks area, the Lupton Massacre site, and the Table Rock Caves—each adding depth and story to your journey.

Your day ends at Discovery Park, where your overnight stay includes a comfortable tent setup with cot and lighting provided, along with access to all park amenities. Explore the property, which offers a variety of watercraft rentals, fishing pole rentals, a 40-acre lake, and Southern Oregon’s only Aqua Park. Did we mention world-class bass fishing?

On Day 2, wake up to a peaceful morning at the park before heading back onto the river. Your final stretch of rafting takes you beneath Lower Table Rock and into some of the Rogue’s most exciting whitewater before taking out in Gold Hill.

This was a fantastic adventure, filled with thrills as the very skilled pilot wove his way over the rapids, through very narrow channels, and super fun spins. If you sit in the front you may even get a few extra splashes to cool you off!
